Refund policy
General Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. However, a product will be eligible for return only if it is received in a defective or damaged condition.
To be eligible for a return:
- Your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
- You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase, clear photographs of the damage or defect must be shared when requesting a return.
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Product Variations
Since our products are handmade, there may be minor variations in dimensions, weight, or finish — typically within 2% to 3%. These natural variations are part of the product’s authenticity and do not qualify as defects. Therefore, such variations will not be accepted as valid reasons for product returns or refunds.
Quality Assurance
Every product we ship undergoes a thorough quality inspection before dispatch. Our team carefully examines each item for defects, finish consistency, and craftsmanship quality. Only after meeting our internal quality benchmarks does a product get approved for shipment.
Returns Procedure
Step 1:
Email ritualandessence@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your product.
Include:
- Order number
- Photos and/or Videos of the product (if defective or damaged)
- A brief explanation of the reason for return
Step 2:
Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and confirm if your item qualifies for return.
Step 3:
Only if your return is accepted, you’ll receive:
- A return authorization email
- A return shipping label
- Instructions on how and where to send your package
Step 4:
Pack the item securely in its original packaging, attach the provided shipping label, and drop it off with the designated carrier.
Step 5:
Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
Step 6:
If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process the refund.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
